Important Upcoming Dates

  • March 13: (4) 8th Grade Students will travel to the Beyond Bullying Conference at Champlain College. Leaving BTS @ 7:45 and returning by 5:00 pm.

  • March 15: 7th Grade Trip to Cobleigh Library - Leaving BTS @ 12:30 and returning in time for dismissal.

  • March 15: Modern Woodman Surridge Benefit Dinner and Raffle - to help Arnold Surridge with Medical expenses and other expenses related to surgery. 5:00-8:00 pm in the Burke School Gym and Cafeteria.

  • March 15, 22 & 23: Lyndon Youth Baseball/Softball Registration in the Lyndon Town School Cafeteria - 3/15 from 4-7pm; 3/22 from 4-7pm; 3/23 from 9:30 am - 1:00 pm. Boys and girls must be 5 before September 1, 2019. All new players must submit a copy of birth certificate. T-Ball and Baseball/Softball 12 & under - $45; Baseball/Softball 13 & Up - $60.   • March 16: Odyssey of the Mind State Competition - Hinesburg, VT from 8am-5pm

  • March 18: 8th Grade to the VT History Museum in Montpelier - Leaving BTS @ 7:45 and returning in time for dismissal.

  • March 18 & 19: 8th Grade Student-Led Conferences to take place in the evening. Details to come.

  • March 19, 26 & April 2: Outdoor Club Cross Country Skiing at Dashney Center from 3-5. Students will need to be picked up at the Dashney Center at 5:00 pm or at the school at 5:15. Please be sure to communicate a pick up plan with the office in advance.

  • March 20: 5th Grade & (4) 7th Grade Students to St. Johnsbury Academy for Catamount Arts (Kingdom All Stars) Performance - Leaving BTS @ 12:15, returning in time for dismissal

  • March 22: Early Release @ 12:10 - Parent/Teacher Conferences (Report cards go home) - NO PRESCHOOL (NO KEAP - ASP)

  • March 27: Humans of Burke event at Cafe Lotti in East Burke from 6-7:30pm.The presentation will be on display until Wednesday, April 24th.

  • April 1: Panther Meeting @ 8:45 am - 6th grade families invited.

  • April 6: 7th Grade to Vermont History Day at the UVM, Burlington. Students will meet at Lyndon Town School. Details to follow.

  • April 8: Community-to-School Advisory Committee, Family Specials Night - Details to come.

  • April 10: K-5 Spring Concert Rehearsal - K-5 and band to Burke Mountain @ 8:30 am, return by 11:00 am.

  • April 10: K-5 Spring Concert at Burke Mountain Hotel at 6:00 pm.

  • May 3: 5th Grade to Boston. Details to come.

  • May 21: 8th Grade to Dynamic Landscapes at Champlain College. Details to come.

  • May 30: 8th Grade to Bald Hill Fish Hatchery in Newark to do research for their global goals. Leaving BTS at 8:45 am and returning by 10:30.
