I am a native Vermonter and graduated with a degree in Elementary Education from Lyndon State College. I acquired my Master’s Degree in Literacy through Johnson State College. I started my teaching career at Cornerstone School, where I began the early primary program. I have also worked at Barnet School as a para-educator. Next, I worked at Miller’s Run School as a reading interventionist, hired through CNSU. In 2007, I took a position teaching first grade at MRS. For the past four years, I have been working through CNSU, first as a reading interventionist at MRS and then as a literacy interventionist at BTS. I am currently  Special Education Case Manager for sixth and seventh grade. I thoroughly enjoy being a part of such a supportive community at Burke and helping the students to see their potential.

My husband, Tim, and I live in Lyndonville with our two children, Addison and Korbin. We enjoy spending time with our families, reading, and outdoor activities.
