I am delighted to have the opportunity to teach middle school mathematics at Burke Town School.

 

As the spouse of a US Navy Commander I have been fortunate to teach in five states and two countries in the public and private sector. Over the past 17 years I have taught at the middle, secondary, and collegiate level a wide variety of mathematics courses. I earned a BS in Secondary Math Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, as well as a MAED in Curriculum and Instruction.  

 

On a personal level, I am an animal-lover, an outdoors enthusiast, and a competitive off-road cyclist with a background in lacrosse, triathlons, and running. You will probably see my husband and I running or riding the dirt roads and KT with our three dogs in tow.

 

I look forward to becoming an active member of the NEK community, and, more important, helping the BTS students reach their full potential as learners, leaders, contributors, and engaged citizens
