Reading and Writing Interventionist Mrs. June Murphy jmurphy@kingdomeast.org
I grew up in South Burlington, Vermont and currently live in Lyndonville with my husband. We have two children (now adults!). Our daughter just graduated from college and our son is a student at UVM. Lyndon State College is what first drew me to this area. Upon graduating from LSC, I started my teaching career in Burke. I later worked at the Deerfield Valley Elementary School in southern Vermont and at the Lyndon Town School. After several years of teaching, I received my master’s degree at the University of New England. It is exciting to be a part of the Burke community. Burke Town School has much to offer and is made up of a caring and positive group of students, families, and staff. When not in the classroom, I love hiking, kayaking, biking, swimming, and skiing. The northeast kingdom is a special place to live.
