![]() tsurridge@cnsuschools.org Mrs. Surridge: I am a fifth-generation Vermonter and grew up in the town of Wheelock. I attended Miller’s Run Graded School in Sheffield and Lyndon Institute in Lyndon Center. After graduation, I enrolled in the Elementary Education program at Lyndon State College. I graduated with my degree in 1988 and got married to my husband, Arnold, two weeks later. We live in West Burke where we have raised two children, Thomas and Elisabeth – both alumni of Burke Town School and Lyndon Institute. My first teaching job was at Sacred Heart Elementary School in Newport teaching Kindergarten. I have worked at Burke Town School for 20 years and love the community. I have been a Modern Woodmen Junior Leader for 25 years. Other jobs have included secretarial work, cashier, dairy farming, day care, and pre-school. In my free time, I like reading, camping, photography and family game nights. |
