Burke Town School- OUTDOOR CLUB- Zealand Hut and CT River Canoe Trip photos:  On November 5th and 6th, the Burke middle school students Outdoor Club spent the weekend at Zealand Hut, partnering with the AMC.  On October 4th & 5th, the Outdoor Club spent the weekend canoeing the CT River and Island Pond. A partnership between the Burke Conservation Commission, NorthWoods Stewardship Center and the BTS Outdoor Club allowed students to learn canoeing and camping skills. It was great to be on the river during this beautiful time in Vermont! Everyone had fun and was glad to be outside, even though it was rainy!
